Prof. Ing. Jan Čadil, Ph.D.
President
He graduated from the University of Economics, Prague. He completed his PhD in 2006, received his habilitation in 2012, and was appointed professor of economics in 2019. His work primarily focuses on applied statistics in connection with economics and economic modeling. Among the domains he specializes in, he highlights economic growth, and labor market issues including education, and impact evaluation.
He actively publishes and conducts research in these areas. He serves on several advisory groups for higher education (e.g., for digitalization, for professional programs), and is also the vice-chairman of chamber B of the Czech Rectors Conference. He has been involved with Unicorn University since its founding in 2007 (then Unicorn College), and has been its rector since 2015.

Ing. Jana Švejdová, Ph.D.
Vice-president for education
She has been working at Unicorn Vysoká škola Ltd since 2017. Until 2020 she held the position of Head of the Department of Economics and Management. Since 2020, she has been working as the Vice-President of Education and takes care of the agenda related to studies. The main goal is to provide students with quality education and appropriate support during their studies.
She graduated in Economics and Economic Policy at the Faculty of Economics, University of Economics. She completed her PhD studies at the same faculty in 2020. Until 2017 she worked at the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic.
She mainly teaches undergraduate and diploma seminars and selected lectures on the public sector. She teaches theses focused on economics and economic policy.

Jérôme Dumetz, Ph.D.
Vice-president for International Affairs
As of 2024, he has stepped into the role of Vice President for International Affairs at Unicorn University. Prior to this, he held the position of Head of the International Relations department since 2010. Throughout his tenure, he has spearheaded the establishment and cultivation of a robust network of university partnerships, facilitating student and faculty exchanges year-round.
As a lecturer and researcher, his main focus is on Cross-cultural Management, an area in which he has published numerous articles and books. Bringing his expertise as both a lecturer and a practitioner, he offers insights gained from years of international experience.

Ing. Michal Mirvald, Ph.D.
Vice-president for Quality Assurance
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Economics, where he has been teaching economics since 1997. Since 2011, he has served as the Deputy Head of the Department of Economics, and since 2013, he has been the Vice-Dean. For his teaching activities, he has repeatedly received the "Teacher of the Year" award based on student evaluations, of which he is a three-time winner.
In addition to his academic work, he has been engaged in business activity for 15 years within a family company operating in the field of telecommunication services.
In 2022, he took up a new opportunity, retiring from the Faculty of National Economy and joining Unicorn College as the Vice-Chancellor for Quality Management. He continues his teaching activities here as a lecturer in microeconomics and macroeconomics, constantly refining his teaching methods to make them useful, practical, and engaging for students. Besides teaching economic subjects, he is also a guarantor of students' professional practice.
