Professor Zelinger has been at Unicorn University virtually since its founding. He has been involved in teaching mathematics in both undergraduate and graduate programs, and has also contributed significantly to the school's publishing and research activities. His favorite course, which he created specifically for Unicorn University students, was Fun Math. In Zdeněk, the school loses not only an outstanding teacher and researcher, but also a colleague with a great deal of expertise and, in the person of many of us, a good friend.
On behalf of the entire Unicorn University team, I would like to thank Zdeněk Zelinger one last time for his work, high professionalism, collegiality and the specific humour he brought to us. To his family and loved ones, I would then like to wish him much strength at this difficult time.
