About Jakub
Jakub Rykr Šindelář is a graduate of Economics and Management. He currently works as an Operations Manager at Unicorn University, where he is in charge of resources, i.e., property, people, and, above all, finances.
Why Unicorn University
"I decided to study at Unicorn University because I knew Unicorn and found out that it was opening its own University with an emphasis on combining practice and study." During his studies, he started to work part-time at Unicorn Systems as a marketing editor.
Cooperation with Unicorn
He positively evaluates the cooperation between Unicorn as a company and the university. It was one of the main reasons why he chose the university, whether it concerns the study self, where they were taught by people directly from Unicorn or other companies. And then, of course, the possibility of working both during and after his studies enables him to start working full-time at Unicorn, managing GUI design projects.
A Few Words by Jakub
"I think people should study at Unicorn University because it still offers what it has offered from the beginning. And that is the connection between practice and study. And above all, the university also allows high flexibility in studying. It wasn't available during my studies, but today it is possible to combine work and study, either in a part-time form or in a fully online form, when you don't even have to come to the campus at all, from enrollment to graduation. You can study everything online; you can work at the same time, travel at the same time, and study in English. So these are things that no other university in our market offers."
