Automotive Computing – European Master’s Programme in the Making - Final Workshop Held in Mladá Boleslav

The third and final workshop of the Erasmus Mundus Design Measures project Automotive Computing for Mobility Innovation (ACMI) took place at Škoda Auto University in Mladá Boleslav, the coordinating institution of the international consortium. The project brings together partners from Unicorn University (CZ), Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (FI), University of Žilina (SK) and Transilvania University of Brașov (RO).

The workshop was attended by representatives of all five participating universities, and topics such as the policy for awarding a joint diploma, a joint promotion and information strategy, and a joint program and integrated activities in the field of teaching and professional training were discussed. All this was done to ensure that the planned master's program not only meets the requirements for accreditation at the national level, but also meets the quality assurance standards for joint programs in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

During the workshop, partners finalised mutual arrangements for the preparation and piloting of a transnational European degree in Automotive Computing. This innovative programme is being designed to address the epochal transformations reshaping the European automotive industry — automation, digitalisation, Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, and electric mobility.
