Adaptation course Unicorn University - Terms and Conditions

1. The Unicorn College Familiarization Course is an educational event designed especially for newly entering students (hereinafter referred to as "the course"), organized by Unicorn Vysoká škola s.r.o., ID 271 69 511, with registered office at V Kapslovně 2767/2, 130 00 Prague 3 - Žižkov (hereinafter referred to as "the organizer").

2. The date of the course is from 25.9. to 28.9.2025, the venue of the course is Hotel Sportlife centrum Rumburk. Applications can be submitted until 22.9.2025 at the latest.

3. A student/graduate becomes a participant of the course after submitting a completed application form via the website https://unicornuniversity.net/cs/adaptation-course and paying the full agreed price.

4. The price of the course is 4.999CZK and includes accommodation in Hotel Sportlife centrum Rumburk, dinner on 25.9.2025, full board on 26.-27.9.2025, breakfast on 28.9.2025 and the program. Transportation to the course venue is provided individually by each participant at his/her own expense.

5. The price of the course in full according to the previous paragraph can be paid online by credit card on the website https://unicornuniversity.net/adaptation-course via the "Order" button, or by bank transfer to account No. 335599/0100, IBAN: CZ86 0100 0000 0000 0033 5599, in the note for the recipient please indicate the name, surname of the participant and Adaptation Course 2024. In the case of payment by bank transfer, the application is considered accepted on the day when the full price of the course is credited to the organizer's account.

6. Cancellation of participation in the course is possible at any time up to the date of the course, the cancellation fee is 100% of the price paid. In the event that cancellation of participation in the course occurs due to serious health reasons on the part of the participant, which the participant can prove, the organizer may refund the paid price of the course to the participant after an individual assessment of the matter. If the course does not take place due to a reason on the organizer's side, the participants will be refunded the full price paid. In the event of cancellation of the course due to force majeure, the organiser is not obliged to refund the price paid to the participants.

7. The place and date of the event is determined by the organizer and reserves the right to change them in cases of special consideration, especially in the event of unexpectedly lower or higher number of participants. The organiser will notify the participants of such a change without undue delay to the e-mail address provided in the application form. In the event of a change of venue or date, the participant has the right to withdraw from the course by email to michal.franko@unicorn.com within three days of the date of notification of the relevant change by the organiser to the participant. In this case, the participant will receive a full refund of the price paid for the course.

8. The Organiser informs the participant that it will process the following personal data for the purpose of organising the course - name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number and, where applicable, delivery address. The participant is entitled to obtain from the organiser information about the processing of his/her personal data, in particular the purpose of the processing, the categories of personal data concerned, the recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, the intended period for which the personal data will be stored. Furthermore, the participant is entitled to request from the organiser the rectification or erasure of personal data concerning the participant, or the restriction of their processing, or to object to such processing. . The participant is entitled to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection or contact the DPO (dpo@plus4u.net).

9. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the participant acknowledges that he/she is participating in the course at his/her own risk and responsibility. The Organiser shall not be liable for any injury to health or property incurred by participants as a result of participation in the course.

10. During the course, participants are obliged to follow the instructions/rules of the organizer or persons authorized by him/her. In the event of non-compliance with this obligation, the organizer (person authorized by him/her) is entitled to exclude the participant from participation in the course without compensation.
